ESPN’s Yates: Chase Bisontis an instant-impact rookie for Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals 2026 second-round pick Chase Bisontis found himself among ESPN analyst Field Yates’ list of non-first-round rookies who should make an instant impact for their teams.

And surprise! The right side of Arizona’s offensive line has a lot to do with it.

While I fully expect Bisontis to settle in as the starting right guard, his experience as a right tackle as a freshman at Texas A&M indicates that he has the necessary versatility to play significant snaps immediately.

With veteran Isaac Seumalo expected to work on the left side, Bisontis was quickly linked to the starting right guard role last month.

Isaiah Adams makes up his biggest competition, having started 11 games for Arizona in his second NFL season. But after being one the Cardinals’ biggest training camp standouts, Adams wasn’t as nearly as consistent in the role.

Bisontis, however, is keeping his options open when it comes to contributing as a rookie.

“I’m really attacking it from center out because if something goes wrong, I want to be that guy. So to know all five — even tight end, running back, their responsibilities — will be helpful.”

The only other NFC West representation on Yate’s late-round ranking was Seattle Seahawks fifth-round offensive lineman Beau Stephens.
