Jaxson Dart has already bought into the John Harbaugh era with the New York Giants, but NFL fans are not fully sold on the hype just yet.

The Giants quarterback praised Harbaugh while speaking about the team’s offensive outlook, saying he “couldn’t think of a better coach to play for.” Dart also talked up the offense which is being coordinated by Matt Nagy. He said,
“I just think we’re very versatile. I think it starts there. And then the other thing is, I just can’t wait for all my boys to be back healthy. I’m excited for the pieces we’ve brought in. They’re going to help us a ton. And we’re just going to be a physical, violent team. That goes on the offensive side of the ball, defensive side of the ball, and special teams.”
Jaxson Dart expects the new offense to be "versatile."

However, fans were quick to mock Dart on X.
One fan said, “Go find a Blue Tent.”
Another wrote, “Week 2 concussion protocol.”
One X user tweeted, “Not with Matt Nagy as your OC 💀.”
“Maybe, but Dart won’t be in it by years end. He will be in career ending concussion protocol,” tweeted one more.
One fan said, “He’ll be concussed by game 4.”
“6 win season incoming,” commented another.

The reaction comes despite the Giants putting together an experienced offensive staff around Dart. ESPN reported in February that Harbaugh brought in Nagy as offensive coordinator, Brian Callahan as quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator, Greg Roman as senior offensive assistant and Tim Kelly as tight ends coach.
Harbaugh has made no secret of how important Dart is to the Giants’ future. Per ESPN, the former Ravens coach said at his introductory press conference that having Dart at quarterback was “kind of a big deal” in his decision to take the job.
Matt Nagy Remains Under Pressure in Jaxson Dart-Led Giants’ Loaded Offensive System
Matt Nagy’s arrival in New York has not been universally welcomed by fans. However, Nagy’s background as a former quarterback and his time under Andy Reid could help Dart, given the schematic overlap with the Giants’ previous offense. So far, fans have noticed that Nagy’s offense has used West Coast concepts, spread looks, misdirection, run-pass options, and tempo. This may fit well with Dart’s skill set.
Nonetheless, Nagy’s past with the Chicago Bears continues to paint him in a bad light. Fans have not forgotten the offensive struggles from his head coaching stint.
As for Dart, the expectations are clear. The Giants have built a veteran-heavy offensive staff around him, while John Harbaugh has already made the young quarterback a central part of his New York project.
