When a commenter praised Hunter for taking care of Lenee, she pushed back with a correction. The comment implied the financial support had always flowed in one direction. Hunter grew up sharing a single room with his parents and three siblings before signing a $46.65 million NFL contract and gifting six-figure vehicles, a transformation his wife was part of before the deal. His rookie season ended in Week 8 after tearing the LCL in his right knee, recording 28 catches for 298 yards and one touchdown on offense and 15 tackles with three pass defenses across seven games on defense. The Jaguars finished the 2025 regular season at 13-4 and first in the AFC South under head coach Liam Coen.

Jaguars general manager James Gladstone said on The Rich Eisen Show that Hunter will play both sides of the ball in 2026 with an uptick in corner usage after higher receiver volume last season.
