San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle took to Twitter/X to talk about an “intruder” that entered his home at 4am. Kittle has been known to share personal stories from his life with his fans, this was no different.

George Kittle Stops “Intruder” In Their Tracks After Wife Wakes Him Up
Here is what Kittle said on Twitter:
At 4 am this morning, as I laid in a deep slumber, I was called to action by my wife who had discovered a spider the size of a half dollar in the bathroom.
Without hesitation I arose to combat the intruder. Claire handed me the slant board I’ve been using for rehab, and I immediately knew the spider had no chance.
It took but 1 attempt to strike down my opponent. I received hugs and kisses for my bravery and fell back asleep with confidence. Have a day gentlemen. 🕷️
Obviously the “intruder” being a spider led to many different reactions online:
One day falling back asleep at 4am will be the victory!
well done. unfortunately for me, in a similar situation I instead attempted termination using a hammer and completely missed the spider but instead just smashed a giant hole in our sink.
I wish your head coach knew how to use you as well as your wife does.
