The Cincinnati Bengals have signed cornerback Tacario Davis, the team’s third-round draft pick out of Washington. The Bengals announced the move Thursday as they inch closer toward getting their 2026 draft class under wraps before OTAs conclude.
Weighing in at 6-foot-4 and 194 pounds, Davis played in 37 career games with 29 starts in his college career, spending his first three seasons (2022-24) with Arizona before transferring to Washington for the 2025 campaign. His career totals included 95 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 25 pass breakups, three interceptions, and one fumble recovery.
With DJ Turner and Dax Hill entering contract years, there’s a very clear path for Davis to become a starter in the Bengals defense as early as next year. But for now, he’ll be a valuable backup that brings an added dimension to the secondary with his big frame.
Six of the Bengals’ seven selections in the 2026 NFL Draft have now been signed. Second-round pick Cashius Howell is the only player who’s yet to be signed, but he’s still choosing to go through OTAs while awaiting his first NFL contract.
