Netflix has landed the exclusive rights to another marquee 2026 NFL regular season game.
On Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers announced that they'll visit the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Nov. 25, which marks Thanksgiving Eve. This will be a rare NFL Wednesday game with an 8:00 p.m. EST start time.
The NFL will release its full regular season schedule on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. EST. Several games have already been announced, including a Thanksgiving Day clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
Per Brian Steinberg of Variety, Netflix is slated to air five games during the 2026 regular season. They'll also broadcast the San Francisco 49ers-Los Angeles Rams Week 1 game in Melbourne, Australia, two Christmas Day matchups (to be announced) and a Week 18 contest.
Netflix aired two Christmas Day games in 2024 and 2025.
Packers vs. Rams Could Be a Playoff Preview
The Rams and Packers have been two of the NFC's top clubs over the past decade. Under head coach Sean McVay, Los Angeles has played in three NFC Championship Games and two Super Bowls, winning it all in the 2021 season.
Green Bay has only missed the postseason once since Matt LaFleur's arrival in 2019. They've gone to two NFC Championship Games under his guidance, but are still looking to break through with a trip to the Super Bowl.
The Thanksgiving Eve clash between the Packers and Rams could very well be a postseason preview. It could even determine who might get home advantage if they meet again in January.
For what it's worth, Packers QB Jordan Love is 2-0 for his career against the Rams.
