CHICAGO, Ill., — The NFL will officially release the 2026 schedule on Thursday night but they are slowing announcing multiple games. After making the international announcements as well as a few primetime games, the schedule is starting to come together.
But a schedule leak on Wednesday has our first rumored Chicago Bears game.
Per Jordan Schultz, the Bears will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. The game will be the first of a triple header for the league as the Lions and Dallas Cowboys always host. The Cowboys are set to host the Eagles in the second game of that day.
For the Bears, this will be the sixth time they have played on Thanksgiving in the last 12 years. The last time they did so was in 2024, which ended up being the final game that Matt Eberflus coached.
Chicago is expected to receive a lot of national/primetime games this season.
