And his mum Jess Brewis says Joshua cannot wait for the big day.
“He’s so excited,” said Jess.
“There were quite a few people that went into the Junior Blues competition and he’s so happy he won.
“He’s been to a few of the games this season and cannot wait to be there on Sunday too.”
But Joshua dreams of one day being part of the team himself.
“He started in the Southend academy this season and he loves it,” said Jess.
“His favourite players are Oli Coker and Jack Bridge as they also played in the academy when they were younger.
“He hopes to go on and follow in their footsteps by playing for them when he’s older too.”
