Florentino Perez is prepared to run elections for his place as president of Real Madrid, and will look to win over voters by promising the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea.
Perez conducted a pair of explosive interviews where he was prepared to put his place as president of the club on the line to prove he is the right man for the job.
The La Liga club are prepared to hire Chelsea legend Jose Mourinho for his second stint in charge of the club after parting ways with Xabi Alonso earlier this season.

Florentino Perez will promise to sign Enzo Fernandez for Chelsea
Not winning a major trophy has left Madrid fans desperate for them to sign a superstar, and this could be the case in the form of Enzo Fernandez at Stamford Bridge.
Journalist Latigo Serrano has stated that Perez is going to use the World Cup winner as one of his bargaining chips when he explains why he is the perfect candidate to remain president.
He said: “Florentino Perez’s third electoral appeal would obviously be a footballer, and one of those footballers that Real Madrid needs in the position where everyone knows the team has had the greatest deficiencies and problems, which is the central midfield.

“This electoral card that Florentino Perez would most likely present, he wouldn’t do so explicitly because it’s a player with a valid contract and no release clause, but he would hint that if he is president of Real Madrid, Enzo Fernandez would be a Real Madrid player.
“He can’t say that publicly because he risks Chelsea saying ‘No, Enzo Fernandez is a Chelsea player and he is not for sale’ but Florentino Perez already knows that Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea. He knows that Enzo Fernandez wants to play for Real Madrid.”
Fernandez remains focused on the job in hand at Chelsea, which focuses around the FA Cup final on Saturday against Manchester City.

Fernandez vying for move to Madrid
The recent international break saw Fernandez make it no secret how much admiration he had for the city of Madrid.
Liam Rosenior responded at the time by suspending him for two games, although this did little to help his own reputation with the rest of the Chelsea squad.
Chelsea have been tipped to need to sell a big name this summer in order to balance the books after missing out on a place in the Champions League.
This could well be Fernandez, and Perez’s desperation to be good to his word could see the Blues receive a pretty fee.
