Lens, May 14 (SANA) Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won a record 14th French league title on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory over Lens, securing a fifth consecutive Ligue 1 crown.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring before substitute Ibrahim Mbaye added a second to ensure an unassailable lead with one match remaining.
Kvaratskhelia netted his 19th goal of the season after Ousmane Dembélé set up the opener, while Mbaye struck in stoppage time.
The win gives PSG a 14th Ligue 1 title, 12 of which have come in the last 14 years under Qatari ownership. The club had effectively sealed the title last weekend with a win over Brest.
PSG remain on course for a potential treble and will face Arsenal in the Champions League final on May 30 in Budapest.
Lens are guaranteed second place and Champions League qualification, and will face Nice in the French Cup final on May 22.
