Joe Flacco may not be the starter in Cincinnati, but he sure still seems to be a star.
The 41-year-old veteran QB impressed Bengals fans by showing up in the middle of last season and getting the offense back to Joe Burrow levels, despite very little time to prepare.
He threw for 13 touchdowns and only four interceptions in nine games for the Bengals, earning him his first trip to the Pro Bowl. Cincinnati was able to re-sign Flacco this offseason, which gives the Bengals a big insurance policy in case Burrow is injured again.
The latest news is that Flacco will be featured in the Netflix show “Quarterback” this year. Other QBs to be featured are Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders, Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans.
Season 3 of “Quarterback” premieres July 14.
