NFL teams have now done almost all they can to improve their rosters ahead of the 2026 season with the draft and free agency now behind them, with many eyes on the New York Giants.
The Giants were able to land John Harbaugh has their new head coach after his surprise firing from the Baltimore Ravens, while bringing a number of coaches with him as he implements his brand of football.
Throughout his time with the Ravens, his team looked to play power football while running the ball with a violent ground attack, with a complex defensive unit. Their coaching hirings and signing reflect that this will be the route they go, after they landed both Arvell Reese (linebacker) and Francis Mauigoa (guard) in the draft, before bringing in a number of Ravens players.

Elsewhere, the NFL's international games were announced on Wednesday, with nine games away from the United States in 2026, while the full schedule will be released on Thursday.

Harbaugh's 'violent' changes
Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has told fans they can expect their new-look team to be "physical, violent and versatile" with Harbaugh bringing in a new identity.

Harbaugh has brought in a host of his former coaches and players from the Ravens, including two new coordinators, as they look to establish a new system and culture.
Speaking of the changes he expects, Dart said: "We're just going to be a physical, violent team. That goes on the offensive side of the ball, the defensive side of the ball, and special teams. So the boys and I can't wait to get out there."
ESPN's show halts
ESPN's Get Up was brought to a halt on Wednesday after the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football was announced.
The two teams will face each other in Week 1 to open the season, in what is expected to be a tough opener for the Chiefs, who could be starting Justin Fields as Patrick Mahomes continues his rehab.
Dolphins make major signing
The Dolphins have moved on from Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Jaylen Waddle, while also firing head coach Mike McDaniel.

But one man they are keeping around is running back DeVon Achane.
Miami has signed the running back to a four-year, $64 million contract, becoming one of the highest-paid backs in the league.
Running backs had been paid much lower than many have expected them to be in recent years, with the Chiefs surprisingly handing out a three-year, $45 million deal for Kenneth Walker from the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks.
