The Las Vegas Raiders could still address their interior defensive line, especially after switching to a 3-4 scheme under new defensive coordinator Rob Leonard. As it stands right now, Adam Butler and Jonah Laulu are currently favored to lock down two starting spots, while a vacancy remains at the other position with J.J. Pegues and Thomas Booker IV in the mix.

According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders have signed Benito Jones to a contract, reuniting him with Rob Leonard, who served as the Dolphins’ assistant defensive line coach in 2020. The 335-pound defensive tackle with 38 career starts brings much-needed depth and versatility, having lined up 180 snaps as a zero-technique, 174 as a one-technique, 895 as a two-technique, 445 as a three-technique, and 38 as a four-technique, per Tristen Kuhn. Jones will compete for the starting nose tackle position this offseason.
