New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers tore his ACL in the first month of the 2025 NFL season. In four games with the Giants last season, he caught 18 passes for 271 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 15.1 yards per reception. Nabers also was targeted 35 times. The former LSU Tigers wide receiver is only 22 years old. Dan Duggan of the Athletic had an alarming update about the Giants star wide receiver. He said on Twitter,

“Giants WR Malik Nabers underwent a second surgery on his knee to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness, according to sources. I’m told the second surgery took place “multiple weeks ago” and it was described as a “clean up.” This second surgery isn’t expected to impact Nabers’ recovery timeline. The team is still hoping the No. 1 WR will be ready for the opener. Nabers first underwent ACL and meniscus surgery on Oct. 28.”

The plan is for Nabers to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys. New York hopes he can productive during the 2026 NFL season as well.

It was one thing for Nabers to undergo knee surgery a month after he suffered the knee injury, but it is another thing for him to undergo another procedure in May. Giants fans are a little concerned about his knee as the 2026 NFL season approaches. This is what New York fans had to say about it on Twitter:

Anyone who thinks he’ll be the same player he was before the injury is crazy. That knee is more shredded than mozzarella cheese.

Nabers will not be himself until 2027 and that is assuming his knee is not blown apart again by the Metlife turf in 2026.

Nabers had another knee surgery already. Scar tissue cleanup sounds rough. I hope this fixes the stiffness quick so he starts the season strong. Giants offense needs him healthy bad. Anyone know the exact timeline now?

bra wtf his knee is cooked

you might as well call metlife acl tear stadium

There are a lot of New York fans that want the turf at Metlife Stadium to be gone because of players like Nabers tearing ACL’s on that field. The Giants wide receiver room when Nabers is not on the field isn’t very deep.
