DETROIT, Mich. (WILX) - Every year on NFL Schedule Release Day, teams across the league get creative with the videos they use to reveal their schedule.
The Detroit Lions have had some good ones over the years. From an AI “Madden” streamer to an appearance from “The Detroiters” stars, they’ve certainly had some fun.
But this year, it was “strictly business.”
That was the caption posted with the video, showing head coach Dan Campbell simply printing off the team’s schedule and posting it on a bulletin board. The video is set to audio clips of media questioning where the Lions stand after missing the playoffs last year and wondering if Detroit’s “Super Bowl window” is closed.
Highlights of the schedule include a home game vs. the Saints in Week 1, a Sunday Night Football game on WILX at Carolina in Week 4, a trip to Munich, Germany to take on the Patriots in Week 10 and the Chicago Bears at home on Thanksgiving.
Detroit will also travel to Minnesota for Sunday Night Football on WILX in Week 15.
Here’s the team’s full schedule:
The Lions also revealed their preseason schedule - at Cincinnati in Week 1, at home against Washington in Week 2 and at Indianapolis in Week 3. Dates for those games are to be determined.
