Instant reactions to the Ravens’ 2026 schedule release

The Baltimore Ravens’ regular season schedule for 2026 was officially unveiled on Thursday night. The Baltimore Beatdown staff shares their reactions to the team’s slate of games below:

Well, I’m happy to see that the start to the season isn’t three straight road games as we feared. The first four weeks seem doable, with the Colts and the Cowboys in Brazil representing the biggest challenges. Those international games are always weird, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see that game lead to a loss and some early-season stumbles. The late BYE can be a killer if wear and tear plays in, but I do like that it gives the Ravens the chance to get back to better health with four straight division opponents to end their slate.

If I’m guessing now, my gut says 12-5. **— Kevin McNelis**

It’s a tough schedule. International games can be difficult on teams, but the Ravens get a lighter beginning schedule to pair with the trip down to Rio. The schedule gets difficult starting in Week 7. The back-to-back primetime games are rough on the body and finishing with four straight division games is not a great set up for success. However, I love the late bye leading into it. Late byes allow you to get healthy late and do critical self-scouting to adjust. Overall, the schedule is an overrated piece in my opinion. Play the teams in front of you, win. 13-4 to start the Jesse Minter in Baltimore. **— Zach Canter**

I for one am glad to see the Ravens not open the season with a big-time prime time matchup with another AFC contender as they have the previous two seasons. A relatively softer start to the schedule is ideal given the fact that Baltimore with a first-time head coach for the first time in almost two decades. Not having a bye week after traveling to Rio in Week 3 could be tricky, but I prefer having it in Week 13 instead before a brutal AFC North stretch to end the regular season. Getting healthy for the final stretch will be paramount if the division is as competitive as usual. Overall, it’s hard to find too much to complain about with this schedule. **— Dustin Cox**

The Ravens schedule lines up pretty favorably overall, although there are undoubtedly some tough draws. Three NFC foes in the first five weeks and gives the Ravens an opportunity to start fast. Even though one of those is the international game in Brazil against the Dallas Cowboys, the Ravens have traditionally performed very well against NFC opponents in the Lamar Jackson era. The Ravens also do not face a returning playoff team from last season until Week 8 and will play several teams with question marks at quarterback. November will be a tough month as the Ravens play five total games, all against teams that made the playoffs in 2025 - four from the AFC. A late bye week can be dicey but should give the team a chance to refresh before a final stretch of divisional matchups. The Ravens should be in good position to exceed double digit wins and bounce back to return to the postseason. **— Frank Platko**
