MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KTTC) – The Minnesota Vikings have released their upcoming schedule for the 2026 season, looking to improve upon a 9-8 season that saw the team miss the playoffs.
Minnesota opens their season at home in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers before facing another NFC North foe in Week 2 on the road in Chicago.
The team’s bye week is Week 6 before they get set to battle the Indianapolis Colts at home in Week 7.
Other highlights for Minnesota include a Week 11 contest, where the Vikings will play their first-ever NFL game in Mexico against the San Francisco 49ers. The team will also play the reigning AFC Champion New England Patriots in Week 14, with that game taking place on a Thursday night at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
The Vikings have four primetime contests on their schedule: Week 9 against Buffalo (MNF), Week 11 against San Francisco (SNF), Week 14 against New England (TNF) and Week 15 against Detroit (SNF).
Two home games, a Week 16 game against the Washington Commanders and a Week 18 contest with the Chicago Bears, have times that are yet to be determined.
