Some NFL fans wait for the schedules to release. Others wait for the schedule release videos.
Former Arizona State and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jake Plummer made the wait worthwhile for some, appearing as a conspiracy theorist in the release for the Denver Broncos, his other former NFL squad.

“Denver International Airport is a hot bed of secrets and mystery,” Plummer sets up 100 seconds into the Broncos’ video. “But what if I told you an alien mothership is being built right under your feet?”

It was wedged within a group of wacky commercials and TV cut-ins as former Broncos signal-caller Peyton Manning surfed channels with his daughter.
“Is the Golden Gate bridge a portal to another dimension?” a voiceover questions, denoting Denver’s Week 4 trip to the San Francisco 49ers, as Plummer’s parody “Occult Network” commercial was cut off.
What other NFL schedule release videos stood out?
The Miami Dolphins made a call in favor of fun, bringing in rapper Rick Ross to stand in for team owner Stephen Ross.
The Dolphins’ social team relished in inducing anxiety for the players who took part, telling them only: “Mr. Ross wants to see you.” The players responded accordingly.

Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Raiders tried to take their impending quarterback competition into friendlier territory with top 2026 NFL Draft choice Fernando Mendoza becoming best friends with veteran Kirk Cousins.

The Buffalo Bills broke the fourth wall, letting viewers in on the supposed meeting where they decided on the video. One person who didn’t belong in the meeting took centerstage: quarterback Josh Allen, who had his heart set on a giant chrysalis.
We’ll let the video — which somehow includes a barbershop quartet — do the rest of the explaining:

Perhaps the best instance of blending fun, the reveals being part of the fun and production value was the Chicago Bears, who put budding wide receiver Rome Odunze centerstage, moonlighting as famed TV painter Bob Ross.
He painted patented small birds to symbolize matchups against the Seahawks, Eagles and Falcons, with “little critters” down on the ground like Lions.

Then there were the Detroit Lions, who were about “strictly business.” Maybe this is how all schedule release videos should be done.
