Chelsea fans vote for 2025/26 Player of the Season as Enzo Fernandez pipped to award

Chelsea fans have been voting for who they believe is the club’s player of the season for the 2025/26 campaign, with the winner now announced.

It has been an underwhelming campaign for the Blues, who have missed out on a place in next season’s Champions League.

Their status as a European side could well rely on how they do in the FA Cup final against Manchester City, which would see them qualify for the Europa League if they were able to win.

Chelsea fans vote for their Player of the Season

Chelsea, under the reign of Calum McFarlane, will need their big names to step up, and we put the top eight up against each other in a vote for the player of the season award.

We asked supporters on TalkingPoints to vote for their winning individual from four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and a final.

Malo Gusto, Cole Palmer, Estevao Willian and Marc Cucurella were eliminated in the quarter-finals, leaving supporters with four big names left in the running.

Reece James and Moises Caicedo were eliminated in the semi-finals. The latter would have been favourite to win this award based on the first half of the season.

The final was contested between Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez, and it was the Brazilian who ran out the comfortable winner as the player of the season.

While the vote has come to an end, you can still get involved and have your say on all things Chelsea by signing up here.

CHELSEA PLAYER OF THE SEASON – FINAL!

Joao Pedro’s excellent first season

With fellow striker signing Liam Delap struggling to make any impact at Stamford Bridge, it has made it even more impressive just how strong Pedro has been in his first season at the club.

The Brazil international has 20 goals and nine assists in all competitions this season, with not a single one of those goals coming from the penalty spot.

His brilliance has seen him crop up as a transfer target to the elite sides in Europe, with Barcelona targeting Pedro ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, Chelsea have no plans to let him go, and will be looking to build their attack under a new manager with Pedro at the forefront of the thinking.
