Chelsea are preparing to launch a major new partnership with Roc Nation, with the Blues looking to strengthen their presence in the United States.
According to [The Athletic](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7278381/2026/05/14/chelsea-roc-nation-partnership-announcement/), an official announcement is expected soon, with Chelsea set to work closely with the entertainment company founded by music legend Jay-Z in 2008.
The partnership is expected to help Chelsea connect with younger audiences in America by blending football with popular culture.
According to Roc Nation, the partnership will aim to grow Chelsea’s profile through music, fashion, creators, entertainment, and athlete storytelling.
The Blues believe football supporters engage with teams in different ways and see culture as an important way to reach new fans.
Chelsea brand director Scott Fenton described the agreement as an important step in building stronger relationships with supporters in the US.
“This partnership represents a major step forward in how we connect with our fans in the US,” he said.
“By leaning into culture, music, and creativity, we are building deeper, more authentic relationships with a new generation of supporters who see football as a lifestyle.”
Over the past few years, Roc Nation has increased its influence on football by representing several high-profile players, including Vinícius Júnior, Kevin De Bruyne, and Gabriel Martinelli.
They have also worked with Romelu Lukaku during some of the biggest transfer moves of his career.
Roc Nation also represents NBA stars, including LaMelo Ball, while its music division works with globally recognised artists such as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and John Legend.
The company’s Sports International president, Michael Yormark, said football’s cultural influence in the US has never been stronger, adding that the goal is to place Chelsea at the centre of the conversations and moments that matter most to supporters.
Chelsea have already experimented with new ways to engage fans, including collaborations with WWE personalities and limited-edition fashion collections.
They’re hoping the partnership can help expand their global appeal, even during a difficult season.
Chelsea currently sit ninth in the Premier League, although they still have the chance to finish the campaign with silverware in the [FA Cup final against Manchester City](https://footballtoday.com/2026/05/15/chelsea-vs-manchester-city-fa-cup-final-preview/).
