Palmer will still be looking to play a crucial role at Wembley against former side Manchester City, with the club’s hopes in attack resting on him and Joao Pedro.
The Brazil international has excelled in his first season at Stamford Bridge, contributing 29 goal involvements without a single penalty.

His brilliance has seen Chelsea instantly become protective of Pedro, and according to Mundo Deportivo, is now seen as the most important player in the squad.
This also sees him ranked ahead of the likes of Reece James and Moises Caicedo, who both signed new deals with the club this season.
Pedro and Palmer’s connection on the pitch has been effective at times this season, with both speaking about how much they enjoy playing alongside one another.

The forward’s top performances this season have seen him gain attention from some of the top clubs in Europe ahead of the transfer window.
