In what has become tradition around the NFL, team's social media departments always come up with something creative for their schedule releases. The Bears were no different, calling on wide receiver Rome Odunze to deliver the news.
Odunze went full Bob Ross, painting Chicago's opponents on a canvas. There were plenty of jokes throughout the video, including the receiver using a cheese grater when painting a matchup with the Green Bay Packers, via the team's X, formerly Twitter account.

The Bears schedule release paints a picture of the journey Chicago will have to take to reach the playoffs once again in 2026. All Bob Ross jokes aside, the franchise is set to play in primetime consistently throughout their campaign. They'll be playing in five primetime matchups total, giving the NFL world a prime example to see what the Bears are made of in 2026.

Chicago didn't need a schedule release to know they'd be playing against the NFC North six times. That alone will be a daunted task before adding in any other opponents. But the Bears now know what it takes to make a run to the playoffs.
Odunze will play a massive role in those plans, especially after the team traded away DJ Moore. Over his two years with the Bears, the receiver has made 98 grabs for 1,395 yards and nine touchdowns. In 2025, he caught 44 passes for 661 yards and six touchdowns.
Bob Ross was known for his calmness while painting. But when Odunze is on the gridiron, the Bears want the receiver to play with a mean streak. They'll hope their schedule release isn't the last time he's making noise on social media.
