Chelsea vs Man City LIVE: FA Cup final match stream, latest team news, lineups, TV, prediction

Chelsea and Man City meet in the 145th FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium this afternoon

One of the most important dates in the English football calendar is here as Chelsea and Manchester City face off in the FA Cup final. Neither side are strangers to trophies or this stage, the Blues claimed the Conference League and the Club World Cup last year, while Man City are back at Wembley a little under eights weeks after lifting the Carabao Cup and are hungry for more success.

Chelsea go into the game as the underdogs having won just three games in all competitions since the beginning of March, but can perhaps take heart from Manchester United and Crystal Palace to inflict a third straight FA Cup final defeat on City on what is heavily rumoured to be Pep Guardiola's last trip to the national stadium.

So, will Chelsea spring a surprise to end a miserable run of successive losses in domestic cup finals or will Man City secure the second part of a potential treble? Follow the FA Cup final LIVE below with our dedicated match blog, featuring expert insight and analysis from Sam Tabuteau at Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea team news: Sanchez to return amid triple boost

Robert Sanchez missed the draw with Liverpool after a nasty clash of heads with Morgan Gibbs-White in the 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest at the start of the month, but Calum McFarlane has confirmed he will be available again at Wembley.

Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto have sat out the last two games with knocks but should be available for selection to boost McFarlane’s attacking options.
