Thoughts on the XI, Blues?
McFarlane can take some encouragement from his previous outing against City, picking up an impressive point at the Etihad after Enzo Fernandez’s late equaliser.
He has remained the go-to player in the Chelsea squad for big moments, scoring the only Blues goal in both the semi-final and draw against Arne Slot’s side.

Romeo Lavia is nowhere to be seen in the Chelsea squad, while Andrey Santos drops to the bench.
The players will be aware they are also playing for a place in next season’s European football. This final is perhaps their best chance at qualifying for the Europa League.
As well as that, the desire to impress their next permanent manager will be on their minds. The latest reports are that Xabi Alonso is the favourite to take over next season.
