**Manchester City are bidding for a second cup title of the season as they face Calum McFarlane’s Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.**
City enter the final after back-to-back 3-0 **Premier League** wins over **Brentford** and **Crystal Palace** to regain momentum in the title race, having slipped up against **Everton** at the Hill Dickinson Stadium last week.
The Blues lifted the **Carabao Cup** at Wembley in March after beating **Arsenal** in the final and amid slim hopes of winning a ninth league title, **Pep Guardiola** and co can make it a cup double in London to give departing stars **Bernardo Silva** and **John Stones** a fitting send-off.
**Rodri** remained absent for City against Palace in midweek and Guardiola indicated in Friday’s press conference that a late decision will be made on the Spain international’s availability against **Chelsea**.

**Josko Gvardiol** was a surprise inclusion in the starting XI against the Eagles, making a swift return to action after suffering a tibial fracture in January that kept the 24-year-old on the sidelines for four months.
**Ruben Dias** has also returned to full first-team training in recent weeks to bolster a near fully-fit **Manchester City** side still competing on two fronts in the final week of the season.
City are contesting in the **FA Cup** final for the fourth consecutive season on Saturday and having lost in the previous two editions of the occasion against **Manchester United** and Crystal Palace in 2024 and 2025 respectively, there is a record to be set straight against Chelsea.
