Chelsea have named their XI to take on Manchester City at Wembley, and John Terry believes there is a need for Joao Pedro to thrive if they are to run out winners.
Pedro starts up front for the Blues, being supported by Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer like he was against Liverpool.
The Brazil international has been the star of the campaign at Stamford Bridge, voted by Chelsea fans as the player of the season despite turbulent times going on around him.
John Terry says Joao Pedro will be crucial for Chelsea in FA Cup final
His 20 goals in all competitions has been added to with nine assists, and getting the best out of his teammates around him has been a real strength of his first season at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “I’m expecting us to soak up a little bit of pressure from Man City, hit them on the counter attack. Joao Pedro is going to be vital to that, as his hold-up play has been top all season long, and he just enables us to get up the pitch.
“His hold-up play, and bringing people in has been so good, especially in the second part of the season, and we can see a young player developing into a top player.”
Palmer has stated on a number of occasions how much he enjoys playing alongside Pedro, with the England international due a big performance for the Blues.
There is no better time to do it than the FA Cup final, especially against the side who thought they were good enough to sell him to the Blues in the first place.
