A fan’s X video showed Rodgers at an ice cream stand in Pittsburgh. The four-time NFL MVP was reportedly seen with quarterback Mason Rudolph and tight end Pat Freiermuth. Insider Brooke Pryor further confirmed the sighting via a tweet:
“Aaron Rodgers at Kool Cones in North Park last night. Next phase of OTAs starts Monday.”

Rodgers has remained one of the biggest unresolved quarterback stories of the offseason. The Steelers placed an unrestricted free agent tender on him in April, keeping them in position while waiting for the 42-year-old to make a final call on his future.

Aaron Rodgers-Steelers Signing Drama
Rodgers’ possible return to Pittsburgh has dragged on through another offseason. Rodgers was believed to be in Pittsburgh after a long stretch of uncertainty around his future. However, the situation became messy after conflicting updates about whether the quarterback was actually visiting the facility or just spending time in the city.
Rodgers’ sighting above comes after NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Rodgers was expected to visit Pittsburgh. However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter later said that both parties camp were not aware of a scheduled facility visit.

Pittsburgh reportedly have a price tag on Rodgers. The team waiting to see whether the veteran quarterback would return for another season. NFL insider Tom Pelissero said,
“There is nothing that I have been told that leads to believe the contract will be a problem with Aaron Rodgers. It’s going to be a one-year deal. It’s going to have a two in front of it, I believe. It’s a pretty straightforward thing because this is not about money for a player who has made $400 million in his career.”
As of now, Rodgers has not officially signed. But his Pittsburgh ice cream stop has given fans another reason to believe the drama may finally be moving toward an answer.
