The ultimate Miz in the NFL viewing guide for the 2026-27 NFL season

The NFL officially released its entire 2026-27 schedule on Thursday night, complete with TV information, locations, dates, and kickoff times, save for a few of the flex games later in the season.

Put another way: we now know when former Missouri football players will play one another on Sundays this fall.

There are currently 34 former Missouri players on NFL rosters. Twenty three teams have at least one Mizzou player. Eight have two former Tigers. Denver has five: Kris Abrams-Draine, Tyler Badie, Cody Schrader, Johnny Walker Jr., and Kristian Williams.

(If you're looking for teams to root against: Jacksonville, LA Chargers, Minnesota, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philly, NY Giants, Washington, and San Francisco all currently don't have any Mizzou players on their rosters.)

Missouri's NFL presence has grown under head coach Eli Drinkwitz. The Tigers had six players taken in the 2026 NFL Draft, matching a program record in the draft's seven-round era. It was the second time in the last three years that six Tigers were drafted.

Here, we've put together a handy-dandy week-by-week NFL viewing guide to watch Mizzou's pro players on Sundays. We did our best to pick one NFL game each week where former Tigers go head-to-head.

With so much representation, it was harder than we thought.

But here's what we came up with:

WEEK 1: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs have two former Tigers: LB Nick Bolton and, currently, WR Xavier Loyd. We'll see if Loyd can make the 53-man roster. If he does, there's a chance he could line up against CB Kris Abrams-Draine, among others, in the season-opener at Arrowhead Stadium on that first Monday night.

WEEK 2: Green Bay Packers at New York Jets

Green Bay has a pair of Mizzou defenders, LB Ty'Ron Hopper and DT Chris McClellan, and they'll get to go head-to-head against OT Armand Membou, who the Jets took seventh overall in 2025. Membou could possibly be blocking for Brady Cook if he can navigate a deep-yet-uninspiring quarterback room to be New York's starter in Week 2.

WEEK 3: Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers

This classic AFC North matchup might not move the needle for some Mizzou fans, but you could potentially have Javon Foster playing offensive tackle for the Bengals and, potentially, Daylan Carnell playing linebacker (or somewhere on defense/special teams) for Pittsburgh, and that's a cool thought.

WEEK 4: Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Battle of the Bays (that's probably not a real thing, but it should be) will feature the aforementioned Hopper and McClellan as well as the Bucs' newly-minted second-round pick Josiah Trotter. That's a lot of All-SEC defensive talent in this one game.

WEEK 5: Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals

There's a world where Larry Borom could be on Detroit's starting offensive line and will have to deal with Arizona's Darius Robinson for roughly 60-70 snaps. Could be fun.

WEEK 6: Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos

A potential Super Bowl preview? Maybe. Denver features a fleet of former Tigers while Seattle has Drew Lock at QB2. Not sure he'll unseat Sam Darnold any time soon, but if Lock sees the field, he'll face some familiar faces on that Bronco defense on Thursday night.

WEEK 7: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens

This is Mizzou's bye week, so you have a lot of options — New England at Chicago, Miami at the Jets, Green Bay at Detroit — but we rolled with Cincinnati at Baltimore, another old-fashioned AFC North matchup with the added bonus of (potentially) seeing Javon Foster have to block Zion Young.

WEEK 8: Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots

We opted for Kansas City-Denver in Week 1, so we'll pivot to an intriguing AFC East clash in Week 8, pitting Miami, with a pair of Mizzou receivers in Theo Wease Jr. and Kevin Coleman Jr., against a New England side that, currently, has LB Khalil Jacobs and OT Marcus Bryant.

WEEK 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears

We're of the belief that Josiah Trotter will firmly be the Bucs' starting middle linebacker by now (that's a day-one expectation, if we're being honest), but in Week 9, on Sunday Night Football, Trotter will have to deal with Luther Burden III and the Bears. Giddy up.

WEEK 10: Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals

The easy answer is the Chiefs playing in Atlanta a day after Mizzou plays Georgia in Athens. Could be a fun Georgia-filled weekend for fans of both teams, of which there are many. But Atlanta doesn't have any Mizzou players (at least right now), so we'll roll with Keagen Trost and the Rams having to deal with Darius Robinson and the Cards.

WEEK 11: Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills

We could, literally, see some MIZ vs. MIZ action, given that Miami has both Theo Wease Jr. and Kevin Coleman Jr. at receiver and Buffalo drafted CB Toriano Pride Jr. in the seventh round. Sign us up for those one-on-one battles.

WEEK 12: Green Bay Packers at Los Angeles Rams

Another matchup where we could literally see MIZ vs. MIZ, with Chris McClellan and Keagen Trost potentially lining up across from each other, head-to-head, in this pre-Thanksgiving game on Wednesday. You'll want to keep an eye on the trenches here.

WEEK 13: Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Rams

The I-70 Governor's Cup reignited (if you know, you know). This will be just the third meeting since the Rams left St. Louis. They last met in 2022, a 26-10 KC win. Before that, the epic 54-51 Rams victory in 2018. Here they are again, with the Nick Bolton-led Chiefs against the Keagen Trost and Harrison Mevis-led Rams. Let's go.

WEEK 14: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Baltimore Ravens

Two franchises that, one, both pride themselves on elite defenses, and, two, both selected top-tier Mizzou defenders in the 2026 NFL Draft. You'll recall, Zion Young went to Baltimore at No. 45 overall while Trotter went to Tampa with the very next pick at No. 46. Historic stuff that will surely get some TV time in this mid-December game.

WEEK 15: Chicago Bears at Buffalo Bills

Remember the Theo Wease Jr./Kevin Coleman Jr.-vs-Toriano Pride Jr. matchup from Week 11? In this matchup, Pride might be tasked with defending Luther Burden III. The whole city of St. Louis oughta tune into this Saturday night thriller.

WEEK 16: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Another game where you'll see a lot of Mizzou talent on the field at the same time, with Ty'Ron Hopper and Chris McClellan on Green Bay's defense and Luther Burden III on Chicago's offense. This game should also carry heavy NFC North implications.

WEEK 17: Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The idea of Keagen Trost having to block Josiah Trotter for 60-some plays is enticing enough, but the possibility of Trotter leaping over the Rams' entire offensive line — remember the fourth down against Auburn? Jump Man? — to block a potential game-winning kick by Harrison Mevis is real, and would be very awesome.

WEEK 18: Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers

Like the Week 16 matchup, this game could, quite literally, decide the NFC North. That's, again, Green Bay's Ty'Ron Hopper and Chris McClellan facing Detroit's Larry Borom and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. Should be a fun one. Hopefully.
