Recently, he was mocked online by a player from another franchise. Rookie Ja’Kobi Lane was drafted in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. He is going to play an important role as a wide receiver in the season ahead and is expected to heavily support Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
He drew much attention after the Ravens’ minicamp was completed. He shared a post including a lot of images on his Instagram. One of those was an image that showed Jackson dunking over Allen in a basketball court. A duck emoji was used to hide Allen’s face. Lane appeared to use an edited or AI-generated basketball-style dunk visual, which was meant to signal that Jackson was a better quarterback than Allen. The picture quickly spread on social media. Neither Allen nor Jackson has commented on the image.
The two are always included in the debate over who is the best quarterback in the league. They have both faced each other multiple times over the years, including the playoffs. Many fans thought that the rookie was wrong and bashed him for suggesting Jackson was better than Allen.
