LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A Guinness World Records title was set Saturday at Louisville’s Waterfront Park, where power technology company Rehlko mowed the area of an American football field in a ride-on mower in 14 minutes, 51 seconds.
The record attempt happened at 3 p.m. on the TurfMutt Great Lawn, in front of a live public audience and under official Guinness World Records adjudication.
Officials said the site was selected as part of Rehlko’s global “Cutting History” initiative, with record rules requiring grass to be maintained at a length of at least six inches. The run was completed by professional operator Hali Rieman, known as the “Lawn Queen,” using a mower powered by Rehlko’s Command PRO® 999 cc (41 hp) gasoline engine.
