Raiders, Stefon Diggs line up to fit WR depth chart need

There's been a lot of buzz lately about Stefon Diggs and the Las Vegas Raiders.

The free agent WR hasn't yet signed a contract. But would he fit nicely in the Vegas depth chart? It certainly seems like it.

Plenty of people are making the case:

Raiders fans… why NOT sign Stefon Diggs? 👀

Still productive.

Still dangerous.

Still draws attention from defenses.

And if the Raiders are serious about competing NOW, adding Diggs makes a lot of sense. 🏴‍☠️

Would you do it?

The Raiders drafted Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick, and they should be doing what they can to help the young QB.

Their top pass game target is the tight end, Brock Bowers, but the receiver room is shaky.

Jalen Nailor was the main offseason signing.

They've also got the returning Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton.

Beyond that, there are uninspiring names like Malik Benson, Dareke Young, Phillip Dorsett, Shedrick Jackson and Chase Roberts.

Most of those guys won't make the team.

If they signed Diggs, he'd be a shoo-in to play most of the snaps.

It's certainly worth considering for the Raiders.
