Tom Brady Hilariously Roasts Bill Belichick During Commencement Speech

It's graduation season, and even though Tom Brady graduated college 27 years ago, he's still getting in on the fun.

Brady gave the commencement address at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, and he couldn't help but roast his former New England Patriots coach a little bit.

"I want you to challenge yourself with ideas that are uncomfortable and people who push you to be your very best, even if one of those people is a cranky old coach who cuts the sleeves off his sweatshirt and screams at you all day, 'Do your job,'" Brady told the Class of 2026.

Brady had a tough boss in Bill Belichick, but he rose to the challenge over the course of their 20 seasons together, winning six Super Bowls with the Patriots. Belichick was a phenomenal mentor who pushed Brady to be the best he could be, and Brady became the best quarterback in NFL history.

Brady followed his dreams, worked incredibly hard and overcame the odds, getting the absolute most out of his ability. If young graduates apply themselves the way Brady did, they'll probably go pretty far in life.
