Indiana football set a new program with 17 players selected in the 2026 NFL Draft or participating in rookie mini-camps across the league. Las Vegas Raiders quarterback and No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza is the headliner of the class, while New York Jets first-round pick Omar Cooper Jr., San Fransisco 49ers third-round pick Kaelon Black and Baltimore Ravens fourth-round pick Elijah Sarratt also heard their names called.
This past weekend, Mendoza, Cooper, Sarratt and Black all reunited in Los Angeles for the NFLPA Rookie Premiere. Among 42 rookies invited to the event, all four Hoosiers donned their new NFL uniforms for the first time and participated in various activations and photoshoots.
