All signs point to the Super Bowl being held in Nashville in 2030 at the Tennessee Titans' new Nissan Stadium, which is slated to open in 2027, and it's natural to begin speculating over what artists could headline the Super Bowl 64 Halftime Show.
Naturally, it would make sense for a country artist to headline the show. It has been a long time since a country artist headlined the show, something Jelly Roll wishes to change. Perhaps the last notable headliner was Shania Twain, who co-headlined the 2003 show alongside No Doubt in a show that also featured Sting.
Below are 10 artists who should headline the 2030 Super Bowl Halftime Show in Nashville, Tennessee. They are listed in no particular order.

While from West Reading, Pennsylvania, Taylor Swift has adopted Nashville as her hometown and could headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in the Music City.
She started her career with her self-titled debut album, which was her only country record. It'd be fitting to hear her return to Nashville to perform some of those songs. As the Eras Tour showed, she knows how to headline a stadium show, too.
Swift is a rare artist who transcends all genres. This would probably be the biggest Halftime Show ever, but we'll see if she ever does it.

Like him or not, Morgan Wallen should absolutely be in contention to headline the 2030 Super Bowl Halftime Show. If Apple Music goes in the direction of a country artist, which feels inevitable, there are few bigger than Wallen at the moment.
He is currently in the midst of his latest stadium tour, the Still the Problem Tour. Wallen is selling out stadiums, making him an attractive choice for such a major stage.

If Apple Music doesn't want to fully dip into country music with the Nashville Halftime Show, Post Malone is a good option. His last album, F-1 Trillion, was a country album. However, his previous albums ranged from hip-hop to rap to rock.
That type of range could make Post Malone a viable option. If he headlined the show, he'd bring different demographics to their TVs.
There's a chance that Post Malone may be done with his country era by 2030. Still, dense discography could make him a primary candidate to do the show.
His country era will continue through 2026. He is in the midst of his second year of the Big Ass Stadium Tour, which is co-headlined by Jelly Roll.
Ella Langley
One of Wallen's opening acts during his current Still the Problem Tour is Ella Langley. She has risen to fame over the last few years, gaining notoriety on social media in the early 2020s.
Now, Langley is still a relatively new artist. Her second studio album, Dandelion, was released on Apr. 10, 2026. Her debut album, Hungover, came out a little under two years earlier.
She has already opened for three of Wallen's tours, so she is used to big stages. Langley has also opened for the likes of Eric Church and Dierks Bentley.
Her fourth solo tour began on May 7, 2026. It will continue through Aug. 15, 2026. She'll simultaneously continue to open for Wallen through the summer.
Langley is similar to Olivia Dean in that she only has two studio albums under her belt. However, her rise to fame and experience playing big venues bodes well for her chances to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in a few years from now.
Zach Bryan
Like Wallen, Zach Bryan has been playing stadiums. He's another one of the biggest country stars in the world, and he's currently in the midst of his latest tour, With Heaven on Tour.
He will play stadiums around North America and Europe from Mar. 7, 2026, to Oct. 10, 2026. Bryan also has a healthy discography to back him, with six studio albums under his belt at the time of this writing.

Post Malone's co-headliner, Jelly Roll, could also do the Super Bowl Halftime Show. It feels like his popularity has grown exponentially over the last couple of years.
He has become even more mainstream, thanks to his recent role with WWE. He played a part in the recent WrestleMania feud involving Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes.
Kenny Chesney

One of the biggest touring country artists of all time, Kenny Chesney is an older artist who could show the young bucks how it's done.
He was the first country artist to perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas, performing 25 shows. Chesnsey has also headlined countless solo tours.
If the Super Bowl wants an established legacy name, look no further than Chesney. However, he's not the only older country artist who would make for an ideal candidate.
Tim McGraw
Another legacy artist who could headline Nashville's Super Bowl Halftime Show is Tim McGraw. He is still going strong, playing stadiums during his ongoing Pawn Shop Guitar Tour.
His career has been enduring, with 17 studio albums to his name. McGraw's music has transcended the country genre, and that type of mainstream appeal could do wonders for his show.
Luke Combs
“Beautiful Crazy” was everywhere nearly a decade ago. It made Luke Combs into a household name, and he has a proven track record of selling out stadiums and arenas.
Perhaps not as hot as he once was at the height of his powers, Combs is still a name to watch. His music is big, and that means it wouldn't feel out of place on a stage as big as the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
A medley of artists
Perhaps this is a cop-out, but it's also possible that the Nashville Super Bowl Halftime Show could feature several artists, similar to the show in 2022 that featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
It's unknown how many times a country artist will headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. If the NFL's track record is any indication, it won't be often.
Having the game in Nashville opens the door for so many possibilities, and a group show could get as many names into the show as possible. This allows more faces to make the marquee in what could be the last country music Halftime Show for a while.
At the 2026 Grammys, Jelly Roll wanted a country-themed Halftime Show. He wanted to see old-school names like McGraw, Chesney, Hardy, and Reba McEntire perform with some newer big artists like Wallen and Lainey Wilson, who could also be a top contender for a solo Halftime Show performance.
