Pep Guardiola and Man City play their final match of the season on Sunday
Pep Guardiola will reportedly leave Manchester City this summer after a trophy-laden decade at the Etihad Stadium, according to bombshell claims in the national press. The Catalan will go down as City's greatest-ever manager, having won an astonishing 17 major trophies in 10 years.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has led City to six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, five League Cups, a Champions League, Uefa Super Cup and Fifa Club World Cup. Among Guardiola's notable accomplishments include a domestic treble in 2019 and a league, cup and Champions League treble in 2023.
And The Daily Mail claim tonight that City have started to tell sponsorship partners that a decision is 'imminent.' The news, the paper says, is said to have been an 'open secret' to those close to Guardiola for some time.
Former Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca and Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompay have both been linked with the role in recent weeks.
