The Washington Commanders' offseason has been largely defense-focused, as Dan Quinn's team was very active in free agency.
That has left Jayden Daniels and the offense forgotten about to an extent, as there haven't been quality additions to the unit, so Washington could be hoping that simply having Jayden back will be enough.
But there are still some nice veteran pieces out there in free agency that the Commanders could look at if they are interested, and I'd assume offense would be the way to go.
However, ESPN's Matt Bowen has linked the Commanders with faded corner Trevon Diggs.
"Washington could view Diggs as a reclamation project, helping him get back to being a true playmaker in the secondary," Bowen wrote. "He has had 20 interceptions in six NFL seasons, including a league high of 11 in 2021.
"Under new coordinator Daronte Jones, Diggs can use his man coverage traits and backfield vision to get a jump on the ball in the Commanders' pressure-heavy scheme. However, he has plenty of availability concerns after spending at least a portion of the past three seasons on injured reserve."

Diggs move doesn't make sense
Well, it does from the standpoint of Digg's relationship with Dan Quinn. But that's it.
Trevon's biggest issue has been his health, as he has struggled to get on the field. And when he has, he's left a lot to be desired, as the Dallas Cowboys moved on from him last season.
Then the Green Bay Packers picked him up, and he played just one game in the regular season, played just two special teams snaps, and only 33 defensive snaps.
With Mike Sainristil and Amik Robertson as the starters, Diggs would be a backup or rotational player at best.
So, a move for Diggs won't exactly be a needle-mover for Quinn's defense.
