Chelsea fans have not had much to smile about this season, but Levi Colwill has certainly been one positive.
Since making his comeback from an ACL injury, Colwill has made a huge impact in the team.
Colwill helped Chelsea to earn a 1-1 draw with Liverpool before putting in another solid performance in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side won 1-0 in the end, but Calum McFarlane and England manager Thomas Tuchel, who was in attendance at Wembley, would have been pleased with his performance.

Chelsea could hold contract talks with Levi Colwill in the summer
Colwill has a contract until 2029, so next year clubs may start to enquire about his availability.
As of now, the Blues are not in discussions with the defender over a new deal, according to Sky Sports.
However, they claim that talks over a contract extension could take place as early as this summer, which is what Chelsea fans will want to see.
Colwill is one of their own, coming through Chelsea’s academy, and is regarded as the team’s best central defender. He is not someone they will want to see depart.
There is already regret over selling the likes of Marc Guehi and Lewis Hall, fellow Cobham graduates.
Why Levi Colwill will be crucial to Xabi Alonso’s defence
Colwill will have another new manager next season, Xabi Alonso. The Spaniard was announced as Chelsea boss over the weekend, and there is no doubt that he will make Colwill a key part of his team.
What would you go with for the Spurs game? A back three or back four?
Chelsea Predicted XI vs Tottenham
Colwill is a talented left-sided central defender who can pass the ball out, and there are not too many of those on the market. If Alonso uses a back four, the 23-year-old will be expected to play in the left centre-back role.
Colwill can also play in the middle of a back three, and there is a chance that Alonso uses a system that employs three centre-halves after his success with the 3-4-2-1 formation at Bayer Leverkusen.
It means the England international is likely to be a very important player for his new manager next term.
