Bukayo Saka could widely be considered an Arsenal legend if the Gunners beat Crystal Palace on Sunday to become Premier League champions.
Saka assisted Arsenal’s winning goal against Burnley by delivering an inch-perfect corner into the box for Kai Havertz to head into the back of the net. The Englishman’s has become a key contributor to his boyhood club’s fortunes in the final stretch of the season.
The 24-year-old’s goal and assist against Fulham and all-important strike against Atletico Madrid serve as examples of him turning up when the pressure has been on Arsenal to deliver.
While Arsenal could win the double this season, Saka can already be proud of his latest feat.

According to Squawka, Saka became the third player in Arsenal’s history to provide 50 plus goals and 50 plus assists after setting up Havertz’s goal against Burnley.

The other two players in question are Arsenal legends Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp, which highlights the winger’s rise to stardom since breaking into the English giants’ senior setup.
Patrick Vieira lauded Saka by claiming he can get into the famous ‘Invincibles’ side and at this point, one can argue that the England international is the best right-winger to have ever played for the club.

However, Freddie Ljungberg, who is perhaps consider Arsenal’s standout right-winger in the Premier League era won the title twice and the FA Cup thrice.

However, the numbers don’t lie when it comes to Saka, with Opta Joe revealing that he is the second-youngest player after Wayne Rooney to provide 50 plus goals and 50 assists in the Premier League.

Arsenal’s number seven has managed to achieve the feat at 24 years and 285 days while Rooney did so at 24 years and 84 days.
