Seamus Coleman's long stint at Everton is set to come to an end later this week, with it being announced in recent days that the Donegal man will leave the club at the end of the season.
It is likely that the defender has already made his final appearance in blue, coming on for the closing moments of the defeat to Sunderland at the Hill-Dickinson Stadium this week. It was only his fourth league appearance of the campaign.
Seamus Coleman has been offered a coaching role at Everton, with David Moyes saying that the player had yet to decide whether he would continue his playing career. However, Ireland manager Heimir Hallgrimsson has since suggested that the 37-year old will sign for another club this summer in a bid to continue his international career.

It has been a difficult couple of seasons for Seamus Coleman at club level, hardly featuring at Everton. Despite this, he was a valued member of the squad and also performed brilliantly for Ireland when called upon.
He clearly still has something left to offer any interested clubs, although it remains unclear where he will end up this summer.

Speaking on the RTÉ Soccer Podcast, Alan Cawley said he had a feeling that Coleman could link up with one of his former managers at a newly promoted club ahead of next season.
I think he'll need to go out and maybe play a bit more regular and whether that's dropping down to the Championship or whatever the case may be, that'll be fine as well.
But I also have a sneaky feeling as well with Coventry getting promoted and (Frank) Lampard loves him, it wouldn't surprise me to see him rock up at Coventry.
Because it would be a brilliant move for him and would still keep him somewhere where he would probably play most weeks.
But also from Lampard's point of view, it would be an unbelievable fella to bring into the dressing room with the move into the Premier League, so it could be a win-win for everyone.
Coventry City romped to the Championship title this season, securing the club's return to the Premier League for the first time since 2001.

Frank Lampard will be keen to add some top flight experience to the squad in the offseason and Seamus Coleman could be an ideal fit. He knows the Irishman well from his time in charge of Everton and could not have been more effusive in his praise of the defender after his tenure came to an end.
The opportunity to continue on at a Premier League club would no doubt appeal to the player, especially if he can be assured of consistent playing time.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the coming weeks.
