According to reports, Guardiola is believed to be furious that news of his departure this weekend has leaked ahead of their crucial game against Bournemouth on Tuesday.
A source revealed:
“Pep is furious at the timing just before a game.
“He summoned the players to join a late-night group call and confirmed he was leaving.
“He apologised for the way the news emerged. It took him by surprise.
“The players were told as recently as Saturday that he wasn’t going so everyone is in a state of shock.”
GIVEMESPORT sources have also confirmed that some of the players and staff were shocked that the news had leaked.
Guardiola has remained incredibly cautious about revealing any news about his departure, regularly skirting away from questions.
