What next for Pep Guardiola? That seems to be the question by everyone as the Manchester City legend is set to bow out at the end of the season as rumours continue to circulate this season will be his last for the Premier League club. With 17 titles - his most decorated spell at any club - including six Premier League titles, five League Cups, three FA Cups and a Champions League title too, it seems the curtain call has been made on one of the most incredible eras in English football.
Bookies William Hill, Sky Bet and Paddy Power have all released market on the Spaniard with a certain international gig in his sights ahead of his reported exit at the Etihad Stadium. The bookies have Guardiola priced at 9/4, at the time of writing this, as the next England manager. You can also find more betting offers at the Mirror Betting Hubs Free Bets offers.
It could mean we see the coach reunited with the likes of Phil Foden, Nico O'Reilly and Rico Lewis if he swaps Etihad Stadium for Wembley. However, Thomas Tuchel has only recently committed his future until the Euros in 2028 to the Three Lions having initially signed up just for the World Cup so he will have to wait until then at the earliest.
It will not be like the former Barcelona player and coach will be limited with options with such a decorated coach potentially available from this summer onwards. Many clubs will be eager to bring someone of his calibre in but it will be a case of right-place-right-time.

Talks of a La Liga return will be off the table straight away despite a price at 11/2 for a return to Barcelona where he brought so much success. The 55-year-old won 14 titles at Nou Camp including three league titles and two Champions League winners' medals as his tiki-taka play style mesmerised fans and plaudits alike.
However, Hansi Flick himself has established himself as a beloved figure with the squad, staff and fans having won back-to-back La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey too. The former Germany manager has also signed a contract extension until 2028.
After leaving Barcelona the first time back in 2012, there were reports during his sabbatical that only one job would persuade him to end it early and that was the Brazil job. In fact, the bookies earlier backed the job as the odds-on favourite at 4/5 as we await confirmation on Guardiola's exit from City.
Earlier today, William Hill's Lee Phelps said: “With Pep Guardiola widely expected to leave Manchester City at the end of the season, attention has immediately turned to what could be the biggest managerial appointment in international football. Brazil are the clear favourites at 4/5 to be his next destination, with Guardiola’s pedigree and style of play making him an obvious fit for a nation desperate to return to the top of the world game."
At that time, it could have been a match made in heaven in 2012 given the pedigree of talent at the time. A Brazil spine featuring Julio Cesar, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves, Marcelo, Fernandinho, Casemiro, Kaka, Neymar, Oscar and Ronaldinho would have truly reignited the Joga Bonito feel across the streets of Rio de Janeiro.
This time round, however, Brazil boast attacking talent like Vinicius Jr, Rayan, Endrick, Joao Pedro which Guardiola could well build on if he was given the job this time around. However, Carlo Ancelotti seems settled in the role and it will all depend how Selecao's performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup goes this summer.
