It was a routine play in an EPL match between Arsenal and Burnley and turned into a source of viral fun when the world got to see the effects playing soccer has on glute development, courtesy of Arsenal’s Piero Hincapié.
Hincapié was fighting for the ball with Burnley’s Axel Tuanzebe when the two players stumbled and Tuanzebe’s left cleat caught Hincapié’s shorts mid-crack, yanking them down and exposing his buns for all to admire.
“LITERAL SQUEAKY-BUM TIME 😂,” the popular Men in Blazers Instagram account joked as they changed the scorebox from “ARS 1, BUR 0” to “ARSE 1, BURN 0.”

Thankfully, the TV broadcast was kind enough to show the replay in slo-mo, including when Hincapié pulled his shorts back up and resumed play. “They legit don’t show some VAR replays as closely and from as many angles as they showed that,” said one commenter on Reddit.
The British tabloids had fun with the moment, though the Sun couldn’t avoid getting sensationalistic by calling it a “nightmare wardrobe malfunction.” It was more like a dream than a nightmare for most fans and Hincapié took it all in stride. Arsenal won the match and stayed on top of the Premier League standings as the season draws to a close.
This is not the first time something like this has happened in an EPL game. Back in 2010, Outsports wrote about a similar moment caught on video: “If you like a firm butt on a fit jock, then you could do worse than that of Salomon Kalou, the Chelsea player who had his pants pulled down in a recent game.”
