Arsenal’s 22-year wait for the Premier League title is over after Manchester City drew 1-1 at Bournemouth.
Here, the Press Association looks at the starting line-up of the last Gunners team to clinch the championship following a 2-2 draw at Tottenham in April 2004, what they have been up to since and where they are now.
Jens Lehmann
Lehmann left Arsenal in 2008 and retired two years later. Later a member of Arsene Wenger’s backroom staff, Lehmann controversially purchased the ‘Invincibles’ trademark – associated with Arsenal’s historic unbeaten 2003/2004 Premier League season – in 2024. Now works as a football pundit in Germany.

Campbell won the title twice with Arsenal following a contentious free transfer from rivals Spurs. He headed to Portsmouth in 2006 – and won the FA Cup – before moving to Notts County, returning briefly to Arsenal, spending a season at Newcastle, and then retiring in 2011. Brief managerial dabbles at Macclesfield and Southend, and an unsuccessful political career, followed.

Playing stints at Manchester City, Liverpool and Celtic all followed for Toure after he left the Gunners in 2009. He took charge of Wigan in November 2022 but was sacked after failing to win any of his nine matches in charge. He is now Pep Guardiola’s assistant at City.

A product of Arsenal’s youth academy, Cole won two league titles and three FA Cups at Arsenal before a controversial transfer to Chelsea in 2006. The England left-back won it all with the Blues and, after coaching roles at Derby, Everton and England Under-21s, he is now in his first manager’s job, with Serie B side, Cesena.
Ray Parlour
Parlour left Arsenal in 2004 and closed his career with Middlesbrough and then Hull. He now works as a pundit for talkSPORT.
