Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal’s players to enjoy every moment after they were crowned Premier League champions for the first time since 2004.

The Gunners were officially confirmed as champions after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth.

City needed to win at Vitality Stadium to take the title race to the final day, but they were unable to force a winner after Erling Haaland equalised in added time.

Mikel Arteta’s side have dominated the division for most of the season and will lift the famous trophy following Sunday’s game against Crystal Palace.

And in a message posted on the club’s social media accounts, Wenger said: “You did it. Champions go on, when others stop. This is your time. Now, go on and enjoy every moment.”
