Chelsea are being credited with an interest in signing West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen this summer. The Blues face an uncertain future following a disappointing season both in the Premier League and in the respective cup competitions, following their defeat in the FA Cup final last weekend.
Xabi Alonso will be the new Chelsea manager from next season and will replace Calum McFarlane, who has taken charge of the club on an interim basis following the departure of Liam Rosenior.
It remains to be seen who Chelsea will target in the transfer market this summer, with Bowen one of the latest names linked as a potential target for the Blues.
The Guardian have reported that Chelsea are joined by Manchester United and Liverpool in showing an interest in signing Bowen this summer.

The report claims that Chelsea do not have an “advanced” interest in Bowen, but believe the 29-year-old could add valuable experience to their squad should they decide to strengthen their forward line.
Chelsea could reportedly look to add more depth to their right wing options with the signing of Bowen, as well as potential cover for their centre forwards.
Bowen’s primary position is on the right wing, but he is capable of being used as a central striker when required.
The England international recently made an honest admission about his future at West Ham amid rumours that his future could be in doubt if the Hammers are relegated from the Premier League.

"I've done it since I've been at Hull,” Bowen told Sky Sports.
“I sit down at the end of every season and think, what's best for me?
“What do I feel? What's my gut feeling? And then make a decision and go with it there.”

Alonso will officially take charge as Chelsea’s new manager on July 1, at which point attention will then turn towards pre-season training and the start of the new Premier League campaign.
It remains to be seen if Bowen is a genuine target for Chelsea, and if the Blues would be able to compete with Liverpool and Man United, with both clubs potentially offering Champions League football.
