The Gunners ended their 22-year drought for a league crown after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.

The full-time whistle sparked wild scenes at Arsenal's training ground, where the players and staff celebrated, as fans descended on the Emirates Stadium to start the part in north London.

Minutes after their status as Premier League champions was confirmed, Arsenal released a video featuring a message from their title-winning manager.

"We made history again, together. I cannot be happier, prouder for everybody that is involved in this football club. Let’s enjoy the moment," Arteta said.

Mikel Arteta’s side will formally be presented with the trophy on Sunday after their final match of the season at Crystal Palace.
