The players flew into raptures upon the final whistle and broke out into chants of “Championes, Championes, Ole Ole Ole”.
‘We Are The Champions’ was also song while star winger Bukayo Saka filmed the wild scenes while screaming into the camera.
Declan Rice, meanwhile, had the last laugh on social media in a picture with his teammates.
“I told you all... it’s done,” Rice said, appearing to reference his reaction to losing to Manchester City, when he was seen saying on-field to Martin Odegaard “it’s not done, it’s not done”.
The streets of North London around the Emirates Stadium heaved with Arsenal fans, and legends, with Ian Wright leading the charge.
