Press Release: Arsenal New Zealand Supporters Club

Auckland, New Zealand — Arsenal supporters across New Zealand are celebrating after Arsenal Football Club secured the English Premier League title for the first time in over two decades.

Members of the will gather this afternoon at The Fox to celebrate the historic achievement alongside fellow Gooners from across the country.

The Arsenal New Zealand Supporters Club, officially recognised by Arsenal Football Club in London since 2007, has supported Kiwi fans for more than three decades. The club began in the early 1990s and has grown into a nationwide football community connecting supporters through live match events, tours, social gatherings, and regional supporter groups.

“This has been an emotional journey for Arsenal supporters,” said Elias Kanaris, long-time Arsenal supporter and Auckland-based organiser.

“Many of us have followed this club through the highs and lows for decades. To finally see Arsenal crowned champions again is incredibly special — and even more meaningful because of the community that has formed around the club here in New Zealand.”

Supporters from Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Christchurch and beyond have regularly gathered for early-morning kickoffs throughout the season, with some matches beginning as early as 4:00am New Zealand time.

The gathering at The Fox is expected to bring together passionate football supporters to celebrate Arsenal’s title-winning season and the growing football culture surrounding the English Premier League in New Zealand.
