FootballTransfers runs through the biggest rumours and gossip from 20 May, including the latest updates on Lewis Hall, Julian Alvarez and Lamine Camara.

Hall open to Newcastle exit

Newcastle are faced with what is being described as "an uphill battle" to keep Lewis Hall this summer, talkSPORT reports.

The 21-year-old is expected to be named in Thomas Tuchel's England squad this week, following an impressive end to the season. His exploits mean that a summer transfer can't be ruled out. In fact, the full-back is said to be open to leaving the Magpies.

Newcastle will likely push hard to keep Hall, as they are also faced with several other major exits, but it could be an exercise in futility. Man Utd are known to be in the market for a left-back and hold a strong interest in the former Chelsea prospect, with director Jason Wilcox a big admirer.

Alvarez wants PSG

Julian Alvarez

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez favours a move to PSG this summer, Radio MARCA claims.

The Parisians have reignited their interest in the Argentine after previously holding talks over a move when he was leaving Man City in the summer of 2024. Alvarez, it is stated, is keen to link up with Luis Enrique.

The forward is understood to be interested in a move away from Atleti, as his two seasons at the club have not been what he anticipated, with the Spanish giants going trophyless in both campaigns. Arsenal and Barcelona are also interested in him, but PSG look to be in pole position now.

Liverpool told Camara price

AS Monaco are willing to sell Lamine Camara for a fee in excess of €46 million this summer, as per Football Insider.

The Senegal midfielder is fielding strong Premier League interest, with Liverpool and Newcastle among the clubs said to be pushing for his signature. The Reds are gearing up for an overhaul of their engine room, while the Magpies will likely have to replace Sandro Tonali.

Despite the widespread interest in Camara, it is expected that he will not be particularly expensive, making a transfer to the Premier League increasingly likely.

Osimhen is Alonso's top target

Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has emerged as a top target for incoming Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, CaughtOffside writes.

The Spaniard has three main priorities in the transfer market this summer, with all three likely involving deals for more experienced players compared to previous windows at Chelsea. He wants a prolific No.9, a reliable goalkeeper and a ball-playing centre-back.

The signing of a new striker, in particular, is believed to be the most pressing matter, and Chelsea are ready to revive their long-standing interest in Osimhen, despite his hefty cost. His wage demands previously doomed a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

In addition to his salary, a fee will also have to be agreed with Galatasaray, who are likely to demand a figure in the region of €100m after shattering their club record to sign the Nigerian for €75m last year.

Lewandowski looks Saudi-bound

Departing Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski looks increasingly likely to be on his way to Saudi Arabia this summer.

Sky Germany reports that Juventus, Porto and several MLS clubs are interested in the Pole, but Lewandowski has already rebuffed a lucrative offer from the Chicago Fire, who have been trying to sign him for years.

MLS insiders Tom Bogert and Matthew Doyle have confirmed that the chances of a move to Illinois are decreasing because Saudi Arabia is making a "strong push" for the veteran forward.

Al Qadsiah, Al Hilal and Al Ittihad are the three Pro League clubs chasing Lewandowski's signature, talkSPORT states.
