Arsenal have officially been crowned Premier League champions after Bournemouth held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night.
The Gunners secured the title for the first time in 22 years following their 1-0 win over Burnley, and now sit four points ahead of their rivals with just one game remaining, ending a six-year trophy drought in the process, as they prepare to now take on Paris Saint-Germain in a historic Champions League final on May 30th.
Social media was rife with reaction and celebrations following the final whistle at the Vitality Stadium, and one man who stepped into the limelight was Man Utd and England legend Rio Ferdinand.

Ferdinand has been known for trolling Arsenal fans on social media in recent years through his YouTube and podcast channels, regularly referring to them as 'bottle jobs' and the like.
But after the game, the 47-year-old took to his X account to offer his congratulations to the north London club, and also call out another pundit and ex-player for his comments on the Gunners in recent times.
"Shout out Arsenal fans… Years of mockery… nearly men! " he wrote. "Tonight, sealed it. Evra where’s your apology?" followed by a number of laughing emojis.
The post has racked up over 12,000 retweets and almost 90,000 likes on the platform, while also being shared regularly across other platforms at the same time, while Arsenal fans are now awaiting Evra's reply after his harsh comments in the past.

Evra is another ex-pro-turned-pundit who has regularly commented on Arsenal's lack of success in recent years, but one comment he made in particular has stuck with a lot of rival fans.
Back in October 2024, Evra was appearing on Ferdinand's 'FIVE' YouTube channel, and they were discussing Arsenal's title charge at the time, when the Frenchman compared the Gunners to Netflix.
“Watching Arsenal is like watching Netflix. You always have to wait for the next season!" he said.
“Trust me, every season is going to be like that so don’t even get involved. I’m really nice, peaceful. Of course, United right now is a disaster. But please don’t speak about Arsenal because now, what, you’re going to cry for the referee, come on.”
Now Arsenal fans will have the last laugh.
